For the 2016 holiday shopping season, The Grave & The Gay is being sold at Malden Pops Up.

Jason will be participating in an event celebrating the album that features the song on which The Grave & The Gay is based. “Vintage Vinyl Night: Fairport’s Liege & Lief LP with Dave Mattacks” will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016, from 6:30-10:30pm at The Dance Hall, Kittery, Maine. The album will be played, followed by an interview and Q&A with Mattacks, who was the drummer on the album. Jason will be selling his book and other vendors will be selling vinyl LPs. Tickets ($15) are available at Brown Paper Tickets.

Jason is in a band called Nice Wicker. This cover of the Moody Blues’ “Nights in White Satin” features Jason on drums and vocals. He can also be found most Wednesday nights playing drums at the weekly blues jam at the Common Ground in Allston, MA.








On August 25, 2015, Jason appeared on local television talking about a serious issue.

Jason will be giving a talk on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Temple Beth Avodah, in Newton, Massachusetts, entitled, “Weaving New Stories From Ancient Texts.” He will speak about and read from The Grave & The Gay and his work in progress about the relationship between King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. On a pro bono basis, Jason has written a brochure for Life Chronicles, which produces videotapes oral histories for families featuring elderly and terminally ill loved ones.

The Fall/Winter 2012 issue of Bancroft Bulletin, the quarterly magazine of the Bancroft School of Worcester, MA, features an article written by Jason.

Jason will appear at a book reading/signing at Malden Public Library in Malden, MA, on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at 7:00 pm in the Maccario Room.

In mid-December, Jason was selected as the 2012 Volunteer of the Year in a unanimous vote by the Board of Directors of the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
